Jake is a portrait, street, landscape, and real estate photographer based out of Jackson, Minnesota. Jake hails from Southwest Montana where he fell in love with photographing the scenic mountain landscapes. After he met the love of his life, he trekked a thousand miles east to the southwest corner of Minnesota where he found his new passion for portrait and street photography.

Jake’s love for streets is brought from his passion for dimly lit small rural towns like the one he originated from and spent many hours wandering. He focuses on instilling mystery and nostalgia into scenes that could truly be anywhere in the rural United States. While streets were the next subject focused on by Jake, he has moved further into portrait work than he ever expected he would. He continues to explore his moody, dark style with a variety of talented subjects all throughout the upper midwest.

Jake prides himself on his work ethic and his ability to create safe and carefree environments for everyone he works with. He believes quality art comes from an equitable environment where every stakeholder feels their needs and wants are being met while creating and respecting strong boundaries.
